(CNN)EgyptAir Flight 804 headed from Paris to Cairo disappeared from radar with 66 people on board,anairline official said Thursday.

The plane was flying at 37,000 feet when it vanished shortly after entering Egyptian airspace, the airline tweeted.
The Egyptian navy is conducting search and rescue operations in the area.

isis or some other variant. jehadist or terrorist of that ilk are a dime a dozen really...
 
Since it's an Egyptair flight we will probably never know for sure what brought it down and that is even if they find the black boxes.
 
Don't fly to Egypt. Only one canadian who fly to Egypt. Seems like more and more Americans avoid traveling to those areas. ISIS is hurting Egypt economy.
 
Sad story. There's been a lot of updates. Apparently a lot of items from the flight are being recovered, even though they haven't found the plane itself. If it exploded, they likely won't find an intact body of the plane, my guess.
 
I just heard that there was smoke in one of the bathroom , that would be an easy place to put a bomb and have no see you doing it. The place made about 4 stops so anything could of happen at one of those stops.

Actually they think the smoke was under the cockpit. Hence why they think it was mechanical, not terrorism.

If you didn't have me on ignore, you would have seen the post just above yours. *smh*
 
Oh wow, that why I don't want to visit Middle East and Africa.
