I strongly recommend that Alex, the owner of the AllDeaf, should allow us to edit our posts anytime. That's what I need to change sometimes. Thank you, Alex.

P.S. I have a member of other forum, and it allows me to edit my posts anytime. That's the reasonable.

It is not going to happen here, because if someone says nasty things about this thread, and later on, come back to edit to make this post to look innocent and it caused us a big confusing after reading other member trying to reply your quote, what are you talking about etc, as I can see it happening recently. Its cheating.

We are allow to have 30 minutes to edit it.

And plus when editing a post, and decide no longer needed to post that post, one would type in "moderators, please deleted" It would just screwed up the whole thread.... :)

That is partly true about the AD user's situation. I don't know what to tell you about the problem. It is about me that I would like to edit mine sometimes. I am sure that some of you would like to do the same thing.

Actually, all moderators' job is to seek and shoot them on the thread if it is a bad issue(s) which isn't health for us to read. That's how Alex pays them.

Nobody is perfect so Alex and his moderators do their job to keep us activities to read the interesting posts. Alex can unplug his website anytime he wants to, but he makes good money from the ads on his website. I prefer him to stay and run his fancy business - smile.

If you edit your post later, people won't see it because it's now been read. If you made a post and I read it a hour later. You suddenly decided to edit your post 2 hours later. Well, your post has already been marked as "read" and won't be visible to me any more. You're better off quoting yourself and adding something else or simply making a new post.

As for edit, the others are right... allowing edit at any time leads to abuse.
