So good!...morning, noon or night...very filling and makes ya warm inside....nutritious too....I've been eating a lot of it these past few weeks when it's cold and chilly/rainy...Yum!...off for another bowl.

It depends. I stay away from the instant stuff. You can do all natural in the microwave in about two minutes so there is really not reason to go instant.
Also, I've found McCann's steel cut oats to be very good in a rice cooker. It takes about an hour, but can timer it overnight to be ready when you wake up. Finally, I add some fat free half and half instead of whole milk, topped with cinnamon and a dash of Splenda.

 I LOVE oatmeal and sometimes have it for dinner.
I get the whole grain or steel cut and add flax to it. With almond or cashew milk, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg...

Flax made you poop so I would not use a lot of it.

I like hot soups more in the cold weather. I just got some low sodium Butternut Squash soup from whole foods. It's not bad, and more of a dinner food.
