What do you think? I'm plan to put in Easter Egg in little toys.. I dont like candy or chocolate... =) too much kids to eat candy...

  • Stickers
  • Character Band- aids
  • Puzzle pieces- put the puzzle together to make sure you got all the egg
  • Magic Grow toys

That would depend on the ages of kids , if there will be very young kids small toys is a bad idea. What about dyes hard boiled eggs ?

My boys are grown...but in past Easter's...we had hunts...and had those plastic eggs with a Starburst inside of them....Also had 1 chocolate bunny to find...was a lot of fun...all in all, my boys did not like sweets, cakes, etc., and their teeth reflect it....:D....Boiled eggs and deviled eggs, they liked to eat.

For 4+ up - When my kids were small, the school would request each parent to bring a dozen eggs filled with something other than chocolate because it would melt outside here in Florida. I agree with Vanessa. I didn't want to put in candies either so I put in little toys that fit in the egg. Mostly stickers, various mini shaped erasers, mini bouncy balls, and small rubber animals. For my own kids, I put money in the eggs for hard-to find places. My kids loved those.

When I was little my mom gave us stuffed animals and books for Easter. I don't recall getting any candy. We did pretty much the same for our daughter, and later, our grandsons. As adults, we did buy Easter chocolate for ourselves.

You know what kind of things your kids like, so that sounds like a good idea. If you place the gifts into plastic eggs or baskets, or put bows on them, they will seem festive.

Coloring the eggs is fun for kids to do.

No live animal gifts, please.

Yeah No baby chicks or rabbits .

Thank you for all this post. My kids 6 and 4yrs old love Easter Egg Hunt. I will put something little stuff. Maybe money is in the plastic egg too.

When my kids were your kids' ages. Kids got color markers and colored books for the easter.

I am trying to remember when the different hunts around here switched from actual dyed hard boiled eggs to the plastic ones.

band aids are they the ones for cuts, not sure about that...don't know what magic grow toys are but sound good...what about little jigsaw...it age group are they likely put in mouth
what I did blow the eggs(make omelette don't waste) and let kids paint them...as it easter I think one tiny little egg size of finger nail size be ok...another thing we did was make the easter bonnet that was good fun

I remember giving little rabbit toys, shorts sets, colorful children's watches, markers.

They really loved the Easter baskets and never missed the candy.

My kids loved my Easter egg hunts. I used the little plastic colored eggs. Gave them a messaged that said.....Egg #1 is pink and you will find it by a sink. They look all over and find that one with a message.....Egg#2 is really blue and you will find it in one of dads shoes.......Egg#3 is green you see and you will find it in a tree.......Egg#4 you will find behind a door. So on etc.....
I put some candy, stickers and when they got older money. The last message lead them to the bigger surprise Books, Art projects, movies etc.

I'm told that this Mumsie Rocked Easters!!!!!

hehe I know its weird , why put the band aids. it actually my kids favorite character likely hello kitty or princess and McQueen Car2.
I thinking to buy Magic grow toy. I haven't try it before. There is a pricey. :eek3:

Thank you caZ12 for a nice idea..

I dont know Peeps candy. notyet try:lol:

They are good, but sugary. Be warned: too much of these cute chicken candies will make the little ones hyper. It's probably not a good idea for your plans.

Im gonna leave the eggs white this year and tell everyone good luck finding them....if you know what I mean...lmao
