EA got very lucky with some of their non-sports games.
Black was actually made by Criterion Games.
Medal of Honor and GoldenEye were made by DreamWorks.
When these companies succeed on their games, EA takes over and continues on their own as if it was their game all along. While I may like some of their games, I do wish that they would stop trying to take over. Having those other companies are the reason for keeping our creative minds open.
