There are thousands of chatroom online, or whatever, ie deafchat, teenchat etc etc etc... Many of you mustive went in some chatrooms before, so what is the dumbest question that you had been asked by someone who don't live in your country?

for me, long time ago, someone asked me if i lived in a igloo because i live in canada.
 
Well, I haven't been asked dumb questions about my country (USA), but I have been asked an unusual question about my height. One guy asked me how tall I am...I told him I am 4 feet 10 inches. He then asked me "Are you a midget?" :)
 
one person asked me how i can stand a cold weather in minnesota.. and that person is from South dakota :confused:

One American guy in IRC asked me, "Is Sweden name of city in Alaska?" That is like the most stupid question ever I heard.
 
Hmm. I've been asked tons of stereotypical questions concerning me being from Tennessee, but I've forgotten most of them.

my sister was once asked if she has ever let anyone watch her pee.....i wanted to beat the dudes ass.
 
My American IRL friend asked me if Finland was a third-world country because he never heard of it.

OMG, just because you don't know a country, you automatically assume it is a poor country? JESUS. I felt SO sorry for him for not being cultured. He doesn't understand that USA is not the only democracy in the world.

Nobody asked me a dumb question about San Diego... that I remembered. Well I usually had to explain where SAn Diego is in the past. Many, I have noticed, assumed San Diego is north of LA... NO. San Diego is SOUTH of Los Angeles... many people associated LA as the southermost metro-city of California-- NOT ANYMORE. SAn Diego is now second-largest city of California (sixth in the nation).

AJ-- dark was asking about questions related to location, not body functions. :) BUt I do understand what you mean-- somebody asked me to sit on my scanner naked... [ROLLING MY EYES] I wasn't dumb enough to know what he wanted. EW.

I was a victim of asking a dumb question as well. I met a person from Arizona when I was 15years old. I thought I would be totally casual when I asked her if there is usually snow in Arizona during winter. She brusted out in laughter and asked me if I am really that blonde. I did take offence by that and told her: "I heard there are snow high in mountains which was irony since Az is well known for its heat.." then she stopped and said, "Well yeah, but youprobably confused Az with NM... Snow only lasts for a short time in Az." I quipped: "yeah, that was what I asked. San Diego back in South California does have snow high up in the mountains but it is short-lived as well, if you care to know. Yeesh, I was just trying to break the ice."]

Nobody shouldn't blame anybody....

Blame the Fema?
Blame the Governor?
Blame the President?
Blame the Mayor?

If I didn't have any car or too poor to evaculate from New Orleans...
I would have many bottled of water with me and many bag of chips and stuff that would last me long time in case something happen.
If thing gotten out of control, I would try to be patient, maybe walk
away from the superdome and find an empty building to sleep in.

here's a dumbest question someone asked me.....a bunch of questions, thank god I don't have to remember them all. :P My brain definatly needs a memory upgrade.
 
It can be confused between state and D.C. I explained it to them that WA state is way up NORTH. Same with San Diego, I told that S.D. is all way SOUTH. I grew up in San Diego. Yes, San Diego is the largest city.

I thought LA is the largest city in California. 4 million people in LA city limits as of 2005 estimate. San Diego only has 1.3 million in the city.

Correct. L.A. is bigger than San Diego in population. Thanks for the input.
