Drunk Rodman arrested in LA

AFP - Former NBA player Dennis Rodman has been arrested for allegedly being drunk in public.

Police in the Los Angeles-area seaside community of Newport Beach said they received a complaint that a boat operator had been drinking.

"When we got there, Mr Rodman was at the dock next to the (restaurant) attempting to untie the boat," said police spokesman Jim Amormino.

"Deputies observed Mr Rodman fall to the ground," Amormino said.

"They interviewed him and determined he was under the influence of alcohol, unable to care for himself or his property."

The 42-year-old Rodman was held in the Newport Beach jail.

ESPN reported that Rodman's agent, Darren Prince, said "he has not seen his name on TV or in the paper in the past few weeks and thought that people forgot about his NBA comeback. Now I guess they will remember."

Rodman has become notorious for hosting loud parties since his retirement from the NBA. Police have been called to his home 70 times after neighbours complained of noise.

He was arrested in 2002 for obstructing police but was not charged.

I once thought Rodman was awesome during his NBA days because his colorful dyed hairs got my attention. But, when his NBA days were over, he kept getting fucked up endlessly. I did not understand why he got drunk, groped woman's boobs in Las Vegas, got arrested for various crimes such as DUI, assault with his then wife, Carmen Electra in Miami, and so on.

Now, he is "has been" player to us today, so therefore, he is a worthless prick. :wackit:
