Hello! I am a design student in Chicago. We are doing a project to help a local entrepreneur that specializes in products for the differently abled. My team is focusing on the promotion of a product that eases the "drive-thru" experience for deaf or hoh people and makes it more accessible.

If you can share your experiences/stories about fast food drive-thrus, suggestions for improving the experience, or comments in general, I would greatly appreciate it and it would help me with my research.

I'm an not deaf nor HOH, but I have gone through a drive-thru with my deaf friends. Any time we go through, they have me order for them because they can't understand/hear what the person taking the order is saying. If they do not have a hearing person with them, they just go inside to order.
