For anyone here on AD, if you haven't already heard, Doug Bahl passed away. He was not a member of AD as far as I know of, but he was extremely famous in the Deaf community in Minnesota and around the US.
He starred in the next ASL movie, "In the Can". He retired just months ago from teaching ASL for many years at MSAD and St. Paul Technical College.
He and his wife just retired to Arizona just this past fall. Just weeks after their move, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on New Year's Eve and passed away just 21 days later. This was just announced last night so I don't have an obituary to post yet, but I'm sure one will be coming. I'm sure at least some of you here on AD knew him.
RIP, Doug Bahl, and condolences and prayers to you and your family.
