Dont buy

That's a sound amplifier. You see them in the newspaper with catchy phases like "hear a pin drop from up to 100 feet" I remember when I was like 10 years old, me and dad saw them for sale at $69 in the mall. I thought it would make a nice spare HA. Dad didn't think that junk HA has enough power/gain for my hearing loss. Well the seller let me try it and he turned the volume to 4. I could not even tell if it was on or off! Dad shouted and I heard nothing! He tried it and it made things a little louder and said it's for people with a mild hearing loss, not severe/profound!

"Hearing aids" for $69? Ever hear the expression, "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is?"

well it does say amplify sounds up to 40db

I bought three from some website several months ago for like $15 each. They claimed a gain of 50db. HA! More like 15db! I sometimes couldn't even tell if it was on or off!

I thought they will be ok as I have mild hearing loss ( slow progessive loss that is genenet)

It sucks that people are not educated sometimes by people that can help them. The reason you are getting the "screaming" noise is because your ear is not sealed or "plugged" with that kind of insert inside. Its feedback and that isn't a HA, the others are right, its just a sound amplifier. You got what you paid for and you probably paid too much for it. I would seek a real Audiologist who can test you and maybe give you a trial with a real set of HA's that will help your mild loss. If money is an issue I would consider saving money for it. If you have a mild loss HAs could help you slow down your loss and save what you have left. I hope this helps.
