Mine in my bed

:D I know many folks who share their beds with their dogs.
Due to my allergies, my girls don't sleep with us. My youngest still uses a crate and my big girl sleeps on the couch.

I have severe asthma and our dogs sleep in the living room in crates.

The crates are like little bedrooms that have all the comforts any dog could want. :)

I have serve asthma too. on steroids at the moment and wish had nebulizer here..
no dogs just cat he sleep downstairs

:wave:Bott! Yes, you're right about the little bedrooms - like that comparison!
My big girl - she's about #75 - loves to lay in her crate to have some quiet time or get away from her still-very-rambunctious little sister. Often I will come into the dogs' room <where their crates, scale, and chest and shelf of supplies are> and find one or both of them laying on their back in their crate with their paws all up in the air or splayed out. :D

I have been diagnosed with mild asthma but have not used any asthma products for several years. I've always crate-trained my dogs and if done properly, it's not punishment <a common misconception by more novice dog people> and can be fun for the dog, if we incorporate games into it.

Also - like a bedroom for a person - it can be safe haven for insecure dog - my shy, sweet Lab through rescue some years ago- if he was nervous about something or didn't feel well, he'd go in the crate. He came to us as 2 year old not crate-trained <nor housebroken> but I worked with him on it.

yes, :(, I just found out I have developed an allergy to dogs, too,
first cats now dogs! which mean no more dogs in the bedroom :( :( :(

Now, explain to your bewildered doggie why after 11 years he is being evicted from his rightful bedroom!? what in the name... ??? :eek3:

and so, the doggie stays, the mommy wakes up breathless, teary and congested. every morning...
