Does your kids picking booger? Mine does my daughter is 4 yrs old. She always do that. I told her not do that it is nasty! She keep doing it. When she pick her booger and she wipe her booger on all over the wall. Sometime in my car and my husband jeep too. I told her to use tissue and kept doing it again. Sometime she did her brother's arm to wipe it off! Oh well, I have to keep telling her over again until she learn to listen.

My son used do that many time. About 3 weeks, I had to ask him do you want me tell your all friends or anyone that you picked your booger? He said no no I said then don't pick that. I didnt mean to tell them but I want scare him and wanted him stop. He told me that he saw kids who picked their nose that make him gross out. I said see then stop do that. He finally stopped. He went to bathroom to blow his nose!

 thread here...

What the kids did is normal...

I remember when Danny was little boy. Danny picked booger in his nose and ate it... :eek3: I told him to use tissue, not eat it... it´s disguist... He ignored me and continue with it... until one day I saw from kitchen window that his friends walk to my property... I was about answer the door with pick my booger... Guess what... Danny is mad with me... "Mom, Don´t do that front of my friends. It´s sick... I play "innoncent" and asked him Why? I thought it´s okay for him. He knew straight way what I´m talking about... He begged "please" it´s disgusit to do that front of his friends... (I didn´t pick my booger front of his friends - was about answer the door on the same time as I pick my booger... ) After that he never do that again ever since... I didn´t see Alan did it... He alway use tissues with him... I guess he copied his eldest brother´s role... :dunno: Perhaps they hide it from us? :dunno:

It's normal for kids to do that and just ask them to use tissues.

haha my kids used to when they were little but they don't do it anymore.....

My son does, and we try to yell at him for it, but I still have that problem. I will catch myself doing it sometimes

 I definitely can relate to the parents in this thread. It drives me nuts to see my kids doing that by picking their nose and eating the boogers.

Sure, it'd be nice to yell at them and have them turn their head to look at me but since both of them are deaf, That means I'd have to get in their face and make a stern facial expression. I'm like "No No, It's nasty" repeatively. Sometime my youngest would pick his nose and he thinks I'm not looking at him. So he decides to do it and when I catch him in time, He just smirks and grins so big. I'm like "Aha, What did I say? It's nasty."

I know it's normal for the kids to do that and by the time they get older, they will eventually outgrow it.

yea, it is funny when kids still doing that.
My daughter still do that. But I keep telling her to stop and use tissue. Yesterday, I clean my car and I found booger on my car side door. She did wipe it off. I went ugh! Oh well...

My daughter ,who is two and a half years old, picks her nose. I ask her to wash her hands after every time she does that. It gradually became less of an issue as time went by. But, she still does that every once in a while.

Most kids do this. It is a normal part of growing up.

Even adults do this. When I stop at a red light at a busy intersection, I tend to observe other hearing drivers. I would see at least one driver picking her/his nose.

Like I said, I still do sometimes. My wife yells at me and my son. I guess I am just an over grown kid:dunno2:

Yea, adult did that too. I remember a teenage boy and his girlfriend. His girlfriend has go to inside her apt while her boyfriend was outside. Me and my deaf friend, we were watching him. He put his finger in his ear and then he put in his mouth and eat it. After that his girlfriend came out her apt. Anyway, they were hugging each other and then they kissed. I was like oh my gawd! She didn't even know what he been up to!:eek3:
