I am quite fond of my hearing aid loop in which I use all of the time. I was wondering if anyone knows if they make a hearing aid loop that has a microphone attached for phone use. Right now I can plug my loop into my phone and use it to hear with but I haven't found one with a microphone on it. I just would think it would be easier to talk with the loop if I didn't have to still hold the phone up with the loop on to talk into the microphone area of the phone. Not that im lazy, just that it would work a bit like headphones that come with a phone that already have the microphone attached.

Thank you ahead of time if you know of one.

Check out Clearsounds CLA7BT. I think the Artone MS might be something else you can look into but I hear people say more positive things about the Clearsounds product. I have the CLA7BT on order. With my profound loss I figure it will be a good test. It has a microphone attached to it, but you need to switch your aids over to telecoil to hear, which I am sure you are already doing. The whole things works with bluetooth technology. So your phone must be bluetooth capable.

I have used neckloops and basically the loop itself acts as a microphone to talk back - at least on cellphones. On a regular landline telephone, I guess it didnt work for me, so I had to put the receiver next to my ear to talk back. Maybe bluetooth neckloops should work better with a mic built-in.
