it looks awesome, and quite unusual 2 +1 doors...comes in 2 versions 1.6 non turbo and a 1.6 turbo and manual or auto...nice but here in NZ for a 1.6 turbo manual is bloody expensive like $50K, which is ridiculous

but nice car,

but does any one knows of its reliability or issues or handling reports??
 
I just googled it. yuck. I no likey.

Hyandai Veloster is around $22k for turbo with manual from USA. So should be $25,813 for NZ currency. $50k is rip off.

but... does both versions (US and NZ) Veloster have same engine?
 
NZ dollar is strong...its just a pure rip off, prying on naive , young and dumb yuppies...'paying a premium to look different'
