I highly doubt that, since web forums (IPB, vB, phpBB, etc) aren't designed to use HTML coding.

However, you can send a request to Alex and he'll review it. If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath on that since it's very highly likely he'll reject that request for security reasons.

HTML code is extremely subject to misuse/abuse, like malicious JavaScripts and scrolling marquees.

Sorry, Pacman.

Some forums allow to do that, such as XDG (Xtreme Deaf Gamers) and PS forum (Playstation.com) but on PS forum, people are require to put something on HTML code and there's guide to help them. I had using HTML code for 4.5 years after joined forum in gamers.com, that where used to create own forum but not anymore and they created new version of forum, also still have HTML code support.

On XDG forum, there's 2 optional to use PHP or HTML then I rather to using HTML code for everything, such as add image and video to my signature.

Yeah, well all I know is that HTML coding is turned off on this forum and has been that way since AllDeaf version 1 (ADv1), when it was in the phpBB format. ADv2 and thereafter uses vBulletin. FYI, some of the graphical smilies (that are there right now) have been there since ADv1.

I understand your perspective, so you can send a request to Alex and persuade him to turn on HTML coding. However, like I said before, I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Alex turned that off for security reasons and he'll defend his argumentation. Good luck on persuading.

Yup. that would what happen about that.

I forgot about bad experience with scammers that who posted with all HTML code in post to make screen goes into all red, blue, yellow, orange and other colors but can only remove when check source page and copy on right HTML code to get in edit message then removed it. I can live without HTML code for some reason, such as he don't want AD to get screw up.

I don't think that he would change his mind after persuading with him but I want see about ADers's opinion about this code.

HTML coding can cause problems.

I'm satisfied with BBCodes. :)

cause problerms? then you are inexperience with HTML code, that why.
No, I'm experienced with HTML. I'm referring to those who choose to use HTML for malicious purposes.

Snazzy got that right. I can't allow it for security reasons.

By the way, the HTML code you posted is to display an image. You can use the site's image BB code which is:

PHP:

If you use that, it'll show the following:
