Do any of you like science classes? Do you have any interesting stories to share about your 1st - 12th grade science classes, college science classes, university science classes, or any other? :)

I have taken different kinds of science like Physical Science, Earth Science, and Biology. My all-time favorite science class is Biology, because I get to study the human body, and life science. :) I took this kind of class twice, once in 7th grade, and the other time in 10th grade. :)

My favorite memory of Biology in 7th grade was when our teacher instructed us to dissect frogs. I got all the tools I needed to dissect this frog I had in front of me....so when I already pinned the frog down and got a knife, I was wondering how to cut the frog open....my teacher came over and showed me how to do this, and then when he showed me how to cut the inside layer and opened it up, we both stared at the BLACK EGGS inside the frog!! He just laughed and I realized that my frog was pregnant! LOL He then told the others to come look at my frog's eggs. :) Then he told me to scoop out the eggs and then look deeper to see the organs to record about them on a paper he gave us. :)

My Biology class in 10th grade wasn't as interesting, but we did learn about the human body and other things. :) I do remember we had a skeleton hanging in the classroom, and one of the classmates (I was watching her) kept feeling and touching the fingers on the skeleton...then she kind of threw it down. I guess it was kind of yucky to her. LOL

Any stories you like to share yourself? :)

I loved learning about science when I was in high school and looked at the pets they had in the classroom and talked with teacher a lot about science stuff, it was cool. ;)

Science never to be my favorite, but they do have interest to learn something. I did enjoy to learning abt them. ;)

It was okay for me...I was kind of good at sciense in middle school though but biology was much harder for me in high school.

I hate science very much, but it is to learn to know about science :) ..

back in umm grade 10 or grade 11 I was in science in the classroom to learn but didnt learn about frog whew not want to cut frog's body ewww then in next year later on other students in the classroom take learn about frog .. whew not me make me feel ewww lol  but I just saw in classroom that me and my others friend to look at it lol

I love science! I used to study Physics and wanted to be a theoretical physicist. Part of my heart is still in astrophysics, maybe someday when I'm fifty and have finished all my career and academic goals, I'll go and do something in Astrophysics.

Its okay to me but good to learn something. I'm learning Science all over again with my daughter. She's in 3rd grade and I still don't know most of what she's learning.

It's ok, nothing to be perfect.

I'm currently take chemistry, that just damn hard. :pissed:

I agree, I got biology when I was in freshmen, just got 2 science class for last freshmen is biology and physical science. I haven't took any science since s'more and junior so not surprised for me.

Lol, yep. Chemistry isn't easy for most people. It's because Chemistry has its own logic and we have to learn it.

Yes I think it´s good.

I find interesting sometimes especially Alan, my son is crazy about Science and focus something...

Science doesn't like me; I'm too much of a Renaissance Man, not to mention I'm entering the beginning of the sunset of my life, circling my wagons, ya know?

Don't misunderstand me, tho, I'm 62 but going on 42! LOL!

I voted other. I liked certain science courses, and I did very well in them. However, I struggled with science as well due to the strong influence of mathematics in the higher science courses. The courses I did well in were biology, anatomy and physiology, and Earth Science. I never attempted the chemistries due to my poor math ability.

I'm grateful I never had to dissect animals.

I hate the Periodic Table of Elements. I'm a dunce when it come to working out which elements meshed and which didn't.

But I recall having enjoyed learning heaps of scientific facts. Especially about the genetic diseases etc.

If anyone enroll LA school then they will rip to take 2 science class in 9th grade, that no good but u will have no science class in 10th/11th grade though.

I love general science and biology as long as I don't have to work with numbers like chemistry or physics.
