This may have been several years ago. Reba's been married for thirty years and her daughter is grown.

MTV has been around about 25 years.

Ha, ha, she's married and has her own children and home. :D

We block MTV and other channels because we don't want to watch them.

Yea, it used crappy and all music video for 24 hrs until 90's but I started watch MTV in 1992, just violation cartoon and my brother watch Real World.

My oldest son who is 11 watches MTV, Only during the day for an hour before he goes to school. But my youngest one has no interested in music right now.

I'm not familiar with Fuel, or Fuse.

We just use the "block channel" programming feature that's built into our TV. That way, it skips the channels we don't want to watch. It saves a lot of "clicking" time when channel surfing.

If I did have kids at home, I wouldn't let them watch MTV.

I wouldnt let my child watch it. .

Why bother with it. . Its bad enough they have the dolls dressing influencing young girls to think they need to dress sexy to get attention from people. . and even somehow lower their self-esteem. . .

Can you care to explain me what those programs are? I don't familiar with those programs you ask us question here because I'm an European and live in Germany.

I own sky satellite TV for 2 TV in 2 living rooms but if you want TV premium to add sky satellite then you have to pay month charge. We don't have TV premium to add in my sky satellite because I don't like to make my children into TV freaks. We are not TV freaks... (TV premium is also included porns sometimes).

I doesn't like to watch TV in mornings to afternoons but night from 8.00 pm. I watch my favorite series at 6.50 pm and Deaf TV at 10 am for 30 minutes every Sundays. My both children don't watch TV in mornings but from 3.00 pm... due German afternoon coffee - watch afternoon TV rarely. I am strict about TV and computer limit but depend how good weekends TV program is. My children show me TV magazine what they want to watch... If I see how long they watch TV they want to see... If it's one hour in morning which it's mean that they can watch from 4.00 pm instead of 3.00 pm. My children agree with me because they want to see that program badly. They have to decide which TV they want to see... 10 am or 3 pm... because both are good TV programs... I teach them at earlier age to decide which one they want to choose that's why they are use to this decision they make.

Yes, we have adult TV like sex, nudist, etc. (NO PORN). We allow my children to watch them because it's good for sex edcuation... safe sex... etc... We are open mind when sex issues comes. I see nothing wrong to have children to watch sex, nudist, etc.

that's heck strict... but... mostly hearing parents don't care about bad stuff.

Sure...

MTV- Music Television Video (It's introduced in 1981, it already spreaded to mostly other countries excluding Canada). There's MTV in Germany: http://www.mtv.de/home/index.php

-MTV is just popular for young adult (from 16-50) but it used mostly music video until mid 90's then become more and more programing with little music video, all music video would be remove completely after 2010. (Just already happened in MTV UK). Only contests and billboard on TRL (Total Request Live) have all music video also live shows too.

MTV 2- Music Television Video 2 (It's introduced in 1996 but not all countries have it, only some difference from MTV). I'm not sure if have MTV2 in Germany but it only available in USA with digital cable. This shows are just show more and more music video than other programming.

Fuse- Just Fuse... (It's introduced in late 90's but there's no spread over international right now). That's biggest difference from MTV, that's mainly rock, heavy metal and punk shows with fully music video, unlike MTV.

Fuel- Just Fuel... (It started in few years ago or so). This shows are just for extreme sports like skateboarding, BMX, surf and snowboard, nothing is music though.
