Did you try talking to the people at your school's financial aid office?

You are probably not qualified enough to get grants.

You have to contact Fafsa yourself and you probably didn't meet the deadline, or didn't qualify for the grants... And you mentioned about already talking to the office about it, ok.. WHAT did they say?

Did you get your SAR report?? it is supposed to come 4 weeks after you mail the FAFSA............

Can anyone kindly explain to me what those two are all about? I have no bloody ideas what they are. :P

SAR Comments

Comments about my information:

Based on the information we have on record for you, your EFC is *****. Your
school will use this number to determine what types of aid and how much you are
eligible for. You may be eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant and other
federal student aid.

We have forwarded your name to Selective Service for registration, as you
requested. They will process your registration request 30 days prior to your
18th birthday.

* Your application has been selected for review in a process called
verification. Your school has the authority to request copies of certain
financial documents from you and your parent(s).

If you need additional help with your SAR, contact your school Financial Aid
Administrator (FAA) or the Federal Student Aid Information Center at
1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243). If your address has changed, select the
'Make Corrections' button at the bottom of the page to make the correction
online or call 1-800-4FED-AID to make the correction on your record.

Yes, that's true. However, they will waive you since you are deaf. It's like saying, "Yes" that you will serve in the military... but they reject you anyway.

Well i hope in all aspect things will look up to u dovip u can also take that over to DCARA and have someone there explain what they all mean!

Oh I see. I understand. Thank you so much everybody. :)
