because the reason i ask this question because the real world is tough out there and they don't accept hard of hearing and deaf peoples. if you know what i am talking about here ladies and gentleman?:hmm:

What does the poll have to do with feeling alone?

pardon me, may i ask, why are the big letters in your thread? maybe i am not aware with something.

i am sorry i dont understand your question.

It's hard to read ur post! The color is too light, and the words are tooooo big. And the poll has nothing to do with ur post.....Also, you typed "along"....I think you mean "alone"???

I think what serena is trying to say is, it is hard to make a living out there deaf, as we all know in the reality world, employment and social conditions are harsh for hearing impaired and profound deaf alike.

So, she's asking if money wasn't the factor of your life; or if you actually suddenly had money, what would you do with it?

1. Buy the house/living standards you always wanted.
2. Help the country (or other countries are included too, like Africa for example).
3. Go on the fame route.

can you please clarify this question that we may be able to answer to your question. :)

I would also appreciate clarification regarding the second option listed on the poll. (i.e. counries)

I sometimes feel alone... but it's rather more a feeling of not being understood than feeling alone.

When it comes to the poll, I also don't understand what it means because none of the three would help me to feel better!

Sometimes I feel alone. It's normal, I think. But if it gets to be depressing (feeling that way over a period of time), then it's best to get outside and around other people.

I think it is countries - travelling all over the world.

:ty: Mrs Bucket. I honestly had no idea what was meant by the OP. Thank you again for clarifying. :)

In response to the OP's question, there are times I do feel alone especially when I'm struggling with depression. I tend to avoid people whenever I'm feeling sad anyways, so I have myself to blame for that. One of the reasons I do this is because I don't want to bring them down with me emotionally.

The isolation I feel isn't as severe as it used to be when I couldn't hear. (Note that I am not saying that deafness or deafblindness is the end of the world. I'm strictly referring to my inability to communicate with others who did not know tactile sign.) There were times I wished that my SSP or tactile terp could spend the entire day with me because when they weren't around, I missed being able to communicate with them and others. Deafblindness can be very isolating on a social level especially when one does not have access to an SSP or tactile terp.

Okay, end of rant. :giggle:

 I'm sorry, I don't really understand this thread.

I don't feel alone and being deaf has nothing to do with being alone either. All you have to do is just prove the society that you can do whatever it takes, You just have to go out there and do everything you can to survived, make something out of your life, and just ride out the tough times. ;)

i don't feel alone that i am with everyone in the world
there are 6 billion people on planet

if i am alone in the world, no other people then i will be feeling alone.
