I worry about deaf ferrets. What if they wanted to hide cat's food and water bowl? Cat would get angry and go after ferret. How do we explain to deaf ferrets that they've to look out for cats if they dared to run off with bowls? How do we explain to the cats that deaf ferrets are unable to hear instructions nor are they able to learn ASL? Would cats be sensitive to ferrets' needs? It can be frustrating trying to incorporate deaf ferrets into hearing world especially if cats are going to have no part in learning ASL? How do we explain to deaf ferrets that cats are exempt from learning ASL because they're kings?

I wouldn't help, but to think about what happened to my friend many years ago. I'm thinking she did the best she would with the hand she was dealt with. What would you do if you found that your ferret was deaf?

I would love my ferret but if decent cat he make some effort for ferret...some ferrets are just pets but other ferrets are wild free..i would rather be wild strong ferret who do its own thing and not be second to a cat
