Do the Naidas have freq compression or freq transposition?

I'm just wondering what the Naidas actually have. As far as I understand they have frequency compression but I've been reading other people posts about the Naidas and they say they have frequency transposition?

Are they the same thing, I thought compression just compresses it and transposition shifts frequencies about?

I'm pretty sure they have both the transposition takes the freqs you can't hear and Puts it into a freq you can the compression I believe just does that compresses the frequencies so that you, in theory, hear them better? I think here is a link ..kind of confusing but ya..lol
