I need your input , here's the drama, my brother is remarried, his current wife is the second wife (2 kids, son and daughter). Yesterday, she got upset at my brother bec he didn't pick HER grand-daughter (her son's baby). According to my mom, she said, those grandbabies live with her ex-husband's mother ,which her ex-husband lives with. Don't you think it's awkward to send your current spouse to your exes family?

Am I crazy , for thinking how awkward that must feel? This woman is doing things according to her ways. Please, I need your input :ty:

I wouldn't ever make my guy go over there.... that is kind of stupid. Ex + husband/spouse = never a good thing. From my experience.

I don't know how old kid is, but the husband does not have to meet the ex husband, do he? Just get kid, right?

Stay out of it and let your brother deal with it. His drama not yours. There is nothing you can do to fix the problem

Some ex-spouse's get along just fine...some don't....but when there are children involved, seems that's when common sense should step in.

Just don't feel the guy should have to go over to the ex's family to pick up the child....if he does have a "problem" with it, and apparently he does.....so his wife should back off and leave him alone.....besides, it's her grandbaby.

They live here, it is my business Bec she brings her drama into this house. Beside, they are "Grand children" her son's kids. Not my brother's son.

If you read carefully, I asked for input your opinions

That is a situation I would stay out of, unless clear boundaries are established, this drama will continue.

Your brother should not go getting kids at his wife's ex's place. It is your brother's wife's responsibility to get her kids at her ex's place OR at any neutral place as in front of the police station. Wife's ex husband can call the court to file a complaint against her because of her not going to pick her kids herself.

Thanks guys , as I said before, needed your 2 cents that I wasn't insane to thinking it should be my brother's job to pick up her grand kids at her ex's house. She's got a nutty mindset for her convenience no one else's.

She's full of drama and drags the entire family into if that makes any sense.

I think your brother should just drive her there to get the kids, if she is too insecure to go alone.

yes, it makes sense. I would start setting up boundaries. Don't be "mean" but be stern. Talk to your brother first.

They are all grown ups right? I don't see what the big deal is. I used to babysit my husbands ex's daughter, not his his lol. They had two boys together, then they split she got with someone else and they had a little girl. I used to babysit her, she brought her over to my house everyday, saw her everyday. Every now and then I'd go over to her place and babysit all 3 of them, but usually it was at my place. During the summer when the boys were all school I'd babysit all of them. Sometimes I'd take her with me grocery shopping. She, the lil girl, had blonde hair and blue eyes like me, I can't tell you how many times people told me "oh she looks just like you". Me "uhhhh......she's not mine. She's my husbands ex girlfriends daughter" oh the looks Id get. Hysterical

Your sister-in-law's daughter and her partner(or hubby) are suppose responsible for their kid. While parents (your sis-in-law and her ex-hubby) are support.

So, it's not really your brother's responsible but little help if none of them are unable to meet through the time and locate.

Awkward. That's her mess that she needs to deal with. It's not fair that shes making your brother deal with the drama. Sounds like they need a heart to heart chat.

It appears awkward for me. In this case, my sister in law brings her drama into the family which is uncool. My brother didn't get her text message til later Bec his job doesn't allow workers using cellphones on the job. To make a long story short, she got mad , took the truck and skid the tires. She was mad.
