You know when many documents have a policy that they do not discriminate against race, sex, religions and blah blah blah?

Well, I have seen at least two schools that are not colleges that does not mention disability in it. Is that even legal?

It may have been an oversight not to include it. I'd call the school and ask to speak with the EEO person (Equal Employment Opportunity). Even if it's not for employment, every employer has to have one, as it's required under law.

No, it's not illegal. IThose policies are not connected with the law; that is, saying "we don't discriminate based on race or gender" has nothing to do with the Civil Rights Act or the Equal Rights Act. Similarly, *not* saying "we do not discriminate based on disability" is not the same as not complying with the ADA, the Rehab Act, etc.

If it is in a brochure that has anything to do with admissions policy, the statement legally has to be there. Especially so for public schools and state colleges.
