For the record, I have never invalidated anyone's experience. I have long recognized that each of us, whether deaf or hard of hearing, have different experiences, upbringings, and preferences to communicate. I have repeatedly said for years that we all share one thing in common and that's communication access whether a person has mild or profound hearing loss. The problem is that some people are unable to get past other posters' opinions and while others can.
