Goldfish only have an attention span of 3 seconds.

imagine swimming in a fish bowl and this is all you ever do.

Oh, look at the pretty castle.

Oo no. Just was going to do some recording myself. Cuz ive had goldfish and had them trained and stuff

Mythbuster screwed up.... those are not GOLD Fish those are Red Capped Mirandas, I had them....
So, I busted their Bust !!!!

Try it with true goldfish.
There is a difference, trying to compare apples to squirrels here.

Ok i had not seen video that tank os way to small for those fish!!! Plus one of them was overfeeding them. Thats going to hurt the fish

Yeah, if they are going to bust a myth, need to use the proper equipment/subject.

That is true. But they are right goldfish do have longer attention span even if i cant give an exact number. What they do with the fish after...

too small to cook and eat...lol either flushed or taken home as pets ( unless donated for the test and returned...) lol

I hope they were taken to families who know how to take care of fish.. Next thing they will have Oscar fish in a one gallon tank..

My goldfish was saying 'Look it time to eat!" And come to the top of the tank when it saw me putting food in the water. It got excited when it was time to eat.

That is why you got to be careful when you are feeding the Goldfishes as they will die from being so fat. They love the fish food so much that they can not stop eating. I love fishes. I used to have Goldfishes when I was very young. My mother take care of them. She let me feed them but just gave me little bit enough to feed them so I don't over fed them. Cool on the video. The fishes in the video don't look exactly like Goldfishes. Close enough. :)

Because......
They cant remember they just ate. lol

Lets add to this....
CARPS.

Carps are goldfish, they eat, they get bigger.
In a small bowl they wont grow too big but will over eat and die, put a goldfish in an aquarium and they grow accordingly to the size of their habitat.
Now, throw them in a lake and you have a monster sized goldfish in a year. A Carp.

My goldfish lived 8 years , most people I knew that had goldfish only lived a few weeks.

My first goldfish lasted close to 8 years too - amazing considering he also traveled over the Atlantic in a coffee can.
