Got tired of moving my wifes crap to cut the grass, so I got the boys busy stacking firewood while I built a pallet fence, then moved all the garden stuff and BBQ pits onto the pad as well... turned out fairly nice, next year Ill build a nice shed on that pad.

Free rocks and concrete chunks to anyone who wants it for fill or landscaping.

Damn Sono, if your wife isn't appreciative of your extraordinary efforts, she has no idea other than some agenda she's holding on to. You're an amazing man Sono! :)

LOL thanks, she had a bunch of garden stuff stacked along the wall and the grass would grow up and I couldnt get to it without moving everything out first. So now its all on the pad with the makeshift pallet fence to deter anyone messing with it for now. I put the BBQ pits out there too and still have one more to move over. Makes the yard look more tidy as well.
Once the roof is done and the big shed is cleaned out then we can start storing stuff away as I will build shelving units inside.
Once the pad is free of clutter then i will build another shed/playhouse on the pad.
I still have to start the treehouse once it gets cooler for my son I promised. Things have finally mellowed down so looks like we will be staying here awhile.
 
how many BBQ pits do you have?!

I'm thinking a BBQ shingding at your place might be epic..:hmm:
 
:bowdown:I never use the gas grills, dont like them... Charcoal and a smokey back yard is me !!!

That is good that things had mellowed down for you . I know how that feel ,
once that mother and her drunken son moved out of my building things had mellowed down here too. I did notice when son threw one of cig butts onto my deck it left a burnt mark on a chair , I was lucky the live butt did not land on my wooden deck .

LOL, yeah a few of my logs were too long , the renters just came home and sat on the deck to talk, I fired up the chainsaw and got to work...they all went inside....lol Guess they couldnt hear how awesome I am over that buzzing....lol

Gee I wish I thought of turning my TV up loud and opening up my sliding door all the way then maybe the mom and her drunken son would had gone back inside to smoke . And there was nothing the renters could had gone at your or end or my end . LOL!
 
It looks very neat and, from what I can tell by the pictures, it appears to be a good place to use the grills without having to move them.

If there are a lot dogs around they would hanging around for meal too b/c it so close to the road. When my neighbor uses his grill Marty want to invite himself over for a steak , his nose will go into high drive sniffing the air.
 
Yes, I had that in mind as well with using the grills in place since it is safer as the kids cant run into or touch them being in a confined area. My son always runs up to me and it scares me that he gets so close to something so hot. So now that they are away from the house and his play area I feel more relieved that theres less dangers for him to encounter. If I dont get the "Big BBQ" going this year, it will for sure be in line for next year. Just the shed roof and a few other projects have set me back this year as they werent planned til next year and forced upon me by the inspectors grrrrrrr.

Has the inspectors been back lately? I was thinking of all the dogs coming up to bug you while using your grill b/c it looks so close to road . I use to carry dog treats made of salmon for Finlay when we took walks in the woods ,bad idea! One day there where a lot dogs off their leash and I was like Pipe piper of dogs , I had dogs trying to put their noses into shorts pocket . LOL! That was the last time I carry those treats on me.
Your yard looks 100% , I cant remember if had a veggie garden going , if you do how that coming along.

Yesm we have a raised garden started, its just a starter deal s my wife can figure out what she is doing...lol It will actually be hugh once we build the real deal. Since its been extremely dry the tomaters are kinda small, I need to get the irrigation system made for it ( soaker type deal ) But we get alot of roma, beefsteaks and cherry tomoatoes, zuccinni, jalapino and habanaros, chilantro, onions ( its a salsa themed garden ) but will have corn and greenbeans next year,.

If I had know my store was going on strike I would grown some veggies on my deck . I hate paying over $2.00 a lbs for tomatoes at Shaw's . Market Basket still has no products .

Its funny McD is cheaper than buying tomatoes.

And the inspector wont be back til sept.
