Hello! I am from Hong Kong. I was invited to Denmark Pre-camp training so I want to know deaf and hoh education's situation.
I finished Denmark camp's interview last week. In this interview, two madams said that Denmark education is adopting oral methods to teach their students, and the women suggested me to speak English talking. As a sign language supporter, I don't believe it.
Although I couldn't pass this interview, the madams invited me learn in the Pre-camp training. So, I am here to ask some questions.
Is Denmark's education oralism? If yes, why?
Galluadet University and RIT/NTID use ASL, their students can study well. Is Oralism help deaf or hoh students to study well?
