This is an epic natural disaster movie. You ought to watch it! I bought the DVD at Walmart for $5 the other day, and I watched it tonight. I have to say, wow!

This is the DVD.

i thought it was good but nothing special... Other disaster movies were better imo... but worth a 5$ pick up :)

IE: Armageddon, The Day after Tommorrow, etc.... what i meant by "a notch better"

I have Armageddon, The Day After Tomorrow, The Core, and now Deep Impact. :D

I've seen Category 7: The End of the World, Dante's Peak, Volcano, and a whole bunch of other natural disaster movies that I have either forgotten the names of, or were made for TV movies.

I am into natural disaster movies.

I have seen that movie too. I'm into natural disaster movies, too. :)

Dante's peak was good, Volcano was stupid lol. Did you notice for a while there it seemed like every summer some natural disaster blockbuster would take the big screen and 2 giant movie companies would race to put out one as some sort of competition? I thought that was kinda amusing hah.

I loved Dante's Peak! It reminds me of Mt. St. Helens here in Washington state because of the scenery and the surrounding area.

Volcano was hilarious since it erupt in middle of Los Angeles.

I love those natural disaster movies, too!

Deep Impact = thumbs up

Those ones esp after 1994 are better ones because we have the technology making them look so real... unlike those old movies, you know. Also they're so adventurous!

me too i have seen them all and deep impact too

i did see 10.5 a earthquake disaster and 10.5: apocalypse too

I liked Armageddon better (with Bruce Willis).

Deep Impact had too much drama that it put me to sleep.

Deep Impact is much into scientific than Armageddon which is full of bull but fun action than Deep Impact. huh....

Hey Lucia! I can't PM you or do anything else in this forum. I wanted you to know that I have not forgotten you with the decoder. I gotta find a box for it to fit in and then get it estimated for costs at the post office. You still want the decoder? It's Sears Solid State TeleCaption. It's very old but still works.

Everyone--sorry I had to post in here to get a message to Lucia!:ty:
