Dear England,

We see your Royal wedding and raise you a Bin Laden death. Your move.

Love, America

LOL...

I am sure Prince William and Kate are glad that public's attention is not on them anymore. Good time for them to make a gateway to their honeymoon while the world is focused on America's big news.

Only one is worth celebrating...

"Celebrating" over someone's death (when so many innocents have been slain in the process) is horrible... Regardless how monsterous that person was...

How are you any better than the one who was killed?

I think celebrating his death is like poking a stick at a tiger... You're gonna p*ss someone off and cop the backlash...

"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy.
Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."

~ Martin Luther King Jr.

Apparently this quote was never said by MLK (or at least the first part) and was made up within the past two days and attributed to him, oddly.

Ur basically telling those who have been effected by the 47,000 Americans that have lost their lives due to the war on terror as a RESULT of 9/11 which was LEAD BY A MAN WHO WE HAVE FINALLY KILLED , that u do not support the fact they finally have a snippet of justice . Not one American thinks any of the terror will stop , but we will CHEER that we have finally found and killed the man who was leading the war against our people! I am sorry to say I will not change my point of view on this!! It would be naive to think that there would not be backlash but this man brought harm to his own people, our nation and for what??

Excuse me while I say screw what you just said and I am glad he is dead.

Not necessarily.

Could just be saying that you're satisfied with justice being served despite the fact that a person was killed, rather than because a person was killed.

It doesn't imply that we shouldn't have done it or anything else of the sort. Just a desire not to feel pleasure or joy directly because of another's death.

I think that I don't find this is funny?? :dunno: Maybe insult :|

*humor alert*

This was supposed to be a fun thread. It had a JOKE in it.

If you have an opinion about people celebrating OBL's demise, start another thread.

Buzzkill.

I'm glad another sorry poor excuse of a human being has been eradicated from the face of the earth. 1 death for the death of countless thousands seems small in comparison.

I never once said I do not support the fact U.S got justice...

Yes, the world is better off without ppl like Bin Laden or Hussain (sp?) who's main purpose in life is terror and destruction...

What I don't support is the party, the celebrations. I just think we're no better then the terrorists if we get off on someone's demise...

But yeah, excuse me for having a opinion.

Thank you...

Kalima its not like I was jumping around in the street, it was poking a little fun and you had to come and make it a debate, that wasnt what this was intended to do...
