Unfortunately, there isn't much of a Deaf Community in my area if at all. There are some deaf and hard-of-hearing people (such as my dad), but NONE of them know even basic sign language because of technology, and a lot of people treat deafness like it's a burden. So, it's really difficult for me not only to learn, but practice without getting a lot of heat.
