To All AD friends who already made reservation for World Deaf Cruise for next 2013. This business is being CLOSED. Check this link for your information. Offical Site of the Deaf Newspaper, LLC

Host arrested for money laundering. Deafcruise.com is closed.

I think that customers should get refund. Judge should order...
 
yup -- I am not surprised.
several years ago I signed up for a cruise and made reservations. A week later he called up from a "shady looking room which appears to be an apt. he called to add on other services and after I said no to them all - he raised price and gave us room that is not what we reserved for. I promptly asked for my money back and he got hostile. He went on to say thats how other agencies work and I know for a fact they don't. After getting my money back - wrote him a letter explaining how the customer is king and if a customer "locks in a price" and you dont change the terms afterwards.

lesson learned.

I am with deafdrummer here... need specific link to the actual information. I searched and found nothing but a website Deaf Cruise's website is closed has been closed but nothing else has made any confirmation or given information about the host money laundering, being arrested, etc. I need the source. Thank you.
