Deaf woman found guilty on a fraud charge.

Oh she hasn't changed at all!

I read them last night. I did not bother to make a comment because it would wasted my time.
 
Lisa Berger is not deaf. I know exactly who this woman is and she is a scam artist. I think she has a sister or a niece that is deaf, but she herself is not. She tried to scam me out of money along with 2 other co-workers that I know of as well as the Optimist Club of Waterloo. I'm surprised she doesn't have a prior record and that this judge did not sentence her to jail time. In my case, she paid me back in cash after I threatened to take her to small claims court.

I don't have a picture but she is maybe slightly over 5' tall, short blonde feathery hair, is heavy set, wears glasses and rarely wears make up.

I hope that this is the last time that she scams anyone out of money, but I'm sure she still didn't learn her lesson. She's gotten away with it multiple times that I know of. I'm sure there are many more that I don't know of.

This article sickens me! I worked with Lisa Berger a few years back, and actually received a phone call from her a couple of weeks ago... I assure you this woman is not in any way hearing impaired. To think that she is pulling yet another scam and and possibly gaining from the sympathies and good will of others AGAIN literally turns my stomach!
In the few years that I knew Lisa I can tell you there were several people who fell for her sad stories and loaned her significant amounts of money only to be lied to and put off when repayment was requested and finally insisted. This woman is absolutely without conscience, morals and a sense of rightness... I pray that no one else falls victim to her schemes and lies, but fear she will strike again. Beware!
