Fred Bird was there too, but we didnt get over that way... too much of a crowd for a stupid bird pic.

That sounds like a good time Mike. I haven't seen an event like that around here. Your little boy is super cute.

Thanks, He is a handful at times..lol He loved signing to some of the members, they were really impressed with the idea he was learning so he could communicate with me. He is always talking about how my ears are broke and now the doctor is going to fix them...lol

My goddaughter is 2&1/2 and is starting to learn that MeMe's ears are broke. She loves looking in my purse, finds my CI remote, then puts it up to my ear. I don't get to spend a lot of time with her but she has learned a few signs from me. I think it is great your son is learning how to sign.

I've been thinking about getting my other ear done. If I do, I will most likely go with the N6 so all my equipment is the same. That is IF my insurance will even consider it.

:aw: How sweet ! When my daughter was in a grade school play she talked loud so I could hear her. It's sweet how our kids will look out for us .

Thanks everyone, He is my light. I love when he comes to me for something and asks but dont get a response, then he gets in front of me, pulls my head towards him and signs. Everyone who has seen him do that are just shocked, as some people we know dont really know or it just hasnt sunk into them yet that I AM deaf.

That is so cute , he is a smart little guy. My granddaughter was about 4 yo and said she needed a microphone to talk to me when I told her I could not hear her.. I didn't think she knew what a microphone was.
