I sold a bike to one guy. We communicated via cell phone. He said he was used to it because his girlfriend's parents are deaf mute. He was a very nice guy and very happy with the bike he bought from me. I was curious and asked if his girlfriend knew sign language. He said yes. She used to be shy to use sign language, but is now a teacher of sign language. He said he should learn. I told him that he should have his girlfriend teach him.
In all, it was one happy transaction. He was a happy customer. I made a sale.
I would tell him that it is not proper to use deaf mute, but he came to buy a bike from me, not discuss deaf issues. Business done. On to next customer.
