We're exhausted and suffered lots of damage from trees down with no power or amenitities for over a week. But, I'm pretty sure no one in our region suffered loss of life and only a few homes took a bad hit. It was a miracle the Cat 5 heading towards us weakened into a strong Cat 1. Perhaps, the prayers worked. Thanks so much for the prayers.....Now, Ike is heading towards the Gulf and we're already buckling our seat belts. Our hearts go out to the folks on the Islands ripped so hard by his winds and storm surge wrath.
Hope all of you are doing good.... I'm going to get some sleep.
