Deaf Humor

I can't help but notice in the link you happened to search "do deaf people have a better sense of humor"

I don't know about you but you can't really assume that one physical trait or disability automatically enables a better sense of humor.

Deaf is a culture too though, and members of a given culture could share a different (or better) sense of humor. For example, lots of people in the US think British humor is dry.

Sadly in America we dont get to see the unrated versions.

Deaf people do have good sense of humor in the right way to make jokes on stage. I had gone through several Deaf comedies in the past. I laughed either with them or at them. Laughter is the most excellent medicine to help us relieve stresses and depression.

Usually Deaf comedians signed with mimic about us being d/Deaf, even HOH relating to hearing audism that we had to put up with. Those were unharmed jokes that I enjoyed being Deaf in our Deaf Culture. Yes, Deaf comedians do have good sense of humor.

There are times I don't understand some of the jokes while others as a Deaf person I understand our own Deaf Culture and understand about Audism. Audism is like roll your eyes at hearing people making us be like fools or thought we were dumb. So we had to laughed at what hearing people think we were suppose to be or do. Silly hearies.
