Deaf Dread-Heads communicating beyond the 5 senses?

I've met a fair amount of Rastafarian deaf in my deaf social interactions. Many tell of a communion they have beyond the normal sense they attain through years of meditation and natural supplement. Most notably is an ability to communicate without these senses. I'm not inferring full conversation, but apparently it goes far beyond what most might think.

Anyone else know of this, and can enlighten me further. I've never had the chance yet to get down deep with one of these folks about it.
 
Perhaps, they used that ability at all times when we are using all of our abilities. It's possible that they "trained" that ability to be superior, but then, who knows. It's possible that their talking could be the ability that's beyond. Toodles.
