Deaf Club to host Super Bowl party - Local News Story - St. Joseph
The Cross Roads Deaf Club will host its second annual Super Bowl party on Sunday at Midland Empire Resources For Independent Living, 4420 S. 40th St.
The party is set to start at 5 p.m. and will continue until the game is over.
The cost is as follows: $3 per person for those who do not want to eat, $5 per person (two choices of food and two cans of soda), $10 per person (four choices of food and four cans of soda), $2.50 per child (6 to 13 years old), and free for those 5 years old and under. Children will get one choice of food and one drink.
Food choices will include hot dogs, pizza or cold sandwiches from Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pastas. Those attending are asked to bring a dessert. A snack bar will also be open.
Guests may wear their favorite football team’s apparel. An optional betting pool will be available.
The club is dedicated to creating awareness and promoting empowerment of the deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened and deaf-blind individuals.
The public is invited to attend.
