Deaf Chat happens at Chattanooga 's largest Starbuck's ( 2217 Hamilton Place Blvd. next to The Acropolis) on the 3rd Saturday every month 10:00 am -12:00 pm. (See our website for a map.) This casual group meets for coffee & Sign Language conversation. Monthly attendance averages about 40-60 people. Deaf Chat is open to everyone in Chattanooga : Deaf, hard of hearing (HOH), CODA, or students of ASL in the Chattanooga region. Deaf Chat is a great opportunity for networking, building friendships, and developing your signing skills, all in a relaxed atmosphere with great coffee available! Hi there...yes we are continuing to improve, we hope to have his last and final tube out in January, still face that 5th surgery but not in a big hurry to have another surgery. Thanks for asking and remembering us!
