Hi, see sign there ASL lab today for Deaf Awareness Day @ Disneyland. There weren't any posts about it so thought I'd post. The 18th Annual Deaf Awareness Day at Disneyland Park is being held 10 March, 2007. Park open 8:00a-Midnight Saturday, March 10. O.C. DEAF is holding this event and will also be providing Sign Language interpreters at selected attractions and shows. Tickets on advanced ticket sales are available at $45.00 per person (guests age 3 and over), but will not be offered on the day of event for this discount. Discount has now passed, deadline was 21 Febuary. Still looks fun to attend event. More information is listed on link below to the flyer for this event. Each ticket purchased will contribute also to O.C. DEAF.

Our OCDAC group went to Disneyland California Adventure last Sunday. 70 of us got tickets for $10 each subsidized by a cochlear implant company.

The GLAD group charge too much because they dont know how to get them subsidized. Too bad for them.

Awww I wanna go!!! I wanna go back on Space Mtn! The ride had changed inside. Ummm it was fun anyway! My son got a little scared but he loved it cuz it was so fast! LOL!

My son's favorite ride at DL is train one (I forgot name of it). And at CA ALL WATER ones. RME! He is so water freak and loves to swim and play in water.

It was worth it that I took him to DL/CA last summer! Even though it was so hot but we enjoyed it. Never again go in the summer! It is nice to go in summer, not worry about being cold! LOL! Spring or fall would be great. At least we got to see all Gold Mickey Mouses before they took it down around Christmas time.

Anyway any of you go, have FUN!!!!

It is so nice to see old friends and meet new deafies.
