Day Camp

Your son is so cute
Myou 3 year old has been dying to go out, I think she knows everything about a fishing pole and how to fish hahaha

My son was getting discouraged with fishing since he hadnt caught anything the firs couple times we went ( too early in the season) Monday he walked off and I caught one on his pole, trying to get him back to reel it in he just took his time and I had it on the bank by time he got back as I had to keep tension on the line because the barbs were removed in case a kid got hooked. But Friday the fish were finally biting as they werent tuesday, wednesday and thursday... He caught one then we put a new worm on and as soon as he casted out and settled down another fish was hooked. Now he cant wait to go fishing again. Im going to take him to Bush Wildlife when I get the truck legal, they stock their lakes and each one is for certain fish, I want to take him Catfishing and Bass... and depending on the seasonal catches we are allowed at the time but hoping he catches a monster fish !

The guy holding his fish was showing it to the other scouts as they havent caught anything yet, explaining what type (bluegill) and letting them feel it before throwing it back. He also did the unhooking them so not to cause any damages to the fish.

haha I love that 2nd pic, your son looks so proud with that grin and the double fist pump lol.

I hope he remembers this but in case he doesn't- tell him when he's older too :)

DD, we do go back into the past. I show him pictures and compare them to the ones current, He even see his birth pictures when he was born... all zombie looking and all lol. He has a flash drive ( looks like a duck too ) and I load pictures onto it for him so he can view them whenever on any computer. He still talks about camp and the fishes like it was yesterday...lol

Are these tiny scouts of some sort?
Cub Scout... He is a Tiger ( they start when they enter first grade )
Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Weeblo I and Weeblo II, Then Boy Scout as they advance. My son has already completed and earned most of his badges/patches already and the actual cub scout hasnt started yet ( this is just day camp where they earn some ) but he has been working on his badges since signing up ( earned his nature patch for gardening and more as I do things with him such as fishing, building stuff ) although they did do some of these at camp also. He really likes it and I enjoy being outside more.
