IRON COUNTY (WAOW) – A 29-year-old Northwoods man forced a deaf woman to drink urine, eat cat feces and threw boiling water on her, according to an Iron County criminal complaint.
Jason Sheehan, of Mercer, is charged three felonies, including human trafficking, false imprisonment and theft.
Investigators say Sheehan abused a 26-year-old woman who was deaf and had cerebral palsy for three years.
The woman told authorities Sheehan “forced her to drink his urine, forced her to eat cat feces, forced her to eat mold, has hit her with an electric fly swatter, has hit her with a hot baking pan, threw bowling water on her, and has thrown objects at her,” according to court records.
Court documents also show the woman also said she was forced to sleep on the porch, in the basement and on the living room floor.
The woman received money from Social Security, which Sheehan would sometimes take, the complaint said.
Two other people were living in the home at the time, according to the Iron County Sheriff's Department. They have not been formally charged in connection to this case.
Sheehan's attorney did not immediately return a call for comment.
