I have a D-Link DSG-4100 router, and I do not have a problem with it for a year. It's a broadband gaming router with 4-port gigabit switch because I have the VP-200 and two Mac computers.
My VP-200 runs 264K speed so my router contains a gigabit which is not necessary, but it works mine with no problem. I had a D-Link 10/100 router, and it was worthless.
You might want to configure your D-Link Admin (enter it with no password) on the internet like this http://192.168.0.1 . But, I think that you might want to ask diehardbiker about the link first what he thinks about it. I got the info from Sorenson tech support on VP.
