Have any of you guys had any experience of this?
I recently met someone online and we've developed a bit of a close friendship and has even gone so as having cybersex (all the time!) I having a bit of a difficult time wrapping my head around this concept of having an intimate relationship with someone online and knowing that we're probably never going to meetup. The bit where it breaks down for me, is that it feels real but it isn't, as it only exists in my mind. I've never been involved in anything like this before and I' not sure how to handle it, so I would appreciate any advice you can give me on the subject as i quite like this other woman.

When I was single, I have done the online dating thing for a short time. I did meet a few guys and we hit it off online. Then when I would meet them in person, it felt different. No chemistry so I ended up good friends with them. My suggestion is to meet this woman if u really do like her and see what it feels like in person.

I never did cybersex with anyone.

I'm not so sure about meeting up with her for exactly the reasons you just described, I'm worried that she'll be totally different from what I know of her currently. She is actually the longest I've been intimate with, I've never had any serious relationships before for a variety of reasons. Mostly to do with me not being the most confident person, its okay when I'm writing 'cause thats what i love to do, but when I have to meet face to face its a whole different ball game.

I never did cybersex before I met her, it was a little strange at first but once you get used to it, can be a lot of fun, especially if you click with the other person.

yep, been there, done that in my high school years. I was younger & I grew out of it til I graduated from high school.

for a simple advice - ask for prove ID photo to be herself in reality because people can lie through virtual world. so be extra careful.

That funny:lol: I guess i never just understand that. how can beat the real thing??????

Yea..that would get frustrating if one gets all worked up from cybersex and cant do the real thing. Wondered about that.

I met my hubby from online and since together for 8 years :):):):)

I rather love a girl whom I meet in person than having 'unreal' sex .

I did ask for a pic, she sent me a video file instead, I got more than I bargained for! I'll leave it to your imaginations as to what it was, all i can say is my jaw hit the floor when I watched it. hehe

She actually admitted that the video is not of her but she has personal reasons for not sending a true pic of herself, which i won't reveal here.

We'd actually split just before christmas, because i couldn't handle this thing very well. This morning she got in touch with me to see if we could work things out and I really like her so I agreed. We're still talking things through and she does want to meet up which is scaring the living daylights out of me.
