Current Meningitis Outbreaks:

This is happening in two schools here in Central Florida....fortuanately, they had the viral meningitis which is less serious, there is no antibotics, and you can live through it, plus you get to stay home in most cases. I had the bacterial meningitis in 1971....I had to stay in the hospital for two weeks with a 106 degree fever and loaded with antibotics just to save my life!...so those kids need to count their blessings they all had the viral kind.

glad to see that the school district has gotten it under control and the kids are going to be fine once they finish the campuswide cleansing to prevent any further outbreaks
