I used to remember having Fridays as the day at school and summer camp as the "Current Event" day. Each one of us had to bring a newspaper story and discuss it with the class.
Do you remember a lot about that day? Did you like it? I wonder if schools and camps still have "Current Event" day those days? It was in dinosaur age before the invention of Google so I was just wondering if "Current Event" days are useful those days?
