This is very short list of contemporary Deaf personalities. Please add to the list any other(s) that should be included. This list does not include past persons who have contributed to Deaf culture- only living personalities.

check out the deaf bloggers.. i think some of them would be considered deaf personalities.
 
Sure Tucker is famous...he was in the documentary Sound and Fury. :ugh3:
 
Are we talking about celebrities within the deaf community, or overall? If we are including bloggers I would like to add Coco Roschaert and MishkaZena.

You know, there are not really a lot of deaf celebrities that hearing people are familiar with. Marlee Matlin is one. Linda Bove is another. A lot of people do know IKJ too. Deanne Bray is familiar to people who watched her show. Other than that I am not sure...how many deaf people can we think of who are famous in the hearing world?
 
There is other deaf actress, Freda Norman and Phyllis Frelich. NS, I never heard of Kelly Munaro?
