Conflicts: Closed Captions or subtitles

I noticed NCI (National Captioning Institute) and FCC ( Federal Communications Commission). Is there conflicts for closed captions and subtitles? If so, then what is it? any claims?

CC on television as that is what I mostly watch.

But on DVD , SDH is way better, it is like CC but bigger clearer writing, and is at the bottom.

What puzzle me is that you want to say closed captioned or subtitles in a introduction thread that you post. You are suppose to introduce yourself of who you are and why you are interest in AllDeaf so that we can get to know you and welcome you to our AllDeaf forum. The closed captioned and subtitles are in another thread if you can find it with section of threads here. So get busy and start looking for them. You will get the answers from the topics. Good luck.
