I'm wondering why sometimes my computer's time go wrong it happens once a while... any ideas?
VamPyroX said:It's probably cuz your computer is running slow. I had that same problem before. It turned out that I hadn't defragged my computer for over 6 months. Sometimes, it helps to do a disk clean-up, scandisk, and defragmentation at least once a month.
interesting.. hmm.. maybe i should check the battery inside my computer since its old from back 1998.Lasza said:Also another reason, I used owned 486 DX2 66Mhz computer around 1994. Few years, later, I begin notice time's slow. I made time correctly for few times but keep it come back. Take it to the repair shop. Found out it is battery's near dead. Costs me the labor and a tiny part (battery) not that expensive. Whew!
1998!? Eek! That's old! I've got a laptop that's old from 1996! Hehehe!DeafSCUBA98 said:interesting.. hmm.. maybe i should check the battery inside my computer since its old from back 1998.

I've never really upgraded my laptop. Laptops are not exactly the kind of thing that can or should be upgraded due to its unpredictability in size and model. Desktops are very common and almost all hard drive towers are the same so they can be upgraded any time. The only thing I upgraded on my laptop was Windows 95 to Windows 98 and added MS Office 2000. Other than that, there's nothing great. The processor chip is Pentium one and the speed is somewhere around the high 100s. That's pretty slow, eh?DeafSCUBA98 said:LOL yeah its old.. at least its still a good computer.. have done some upgrades though.. but the speed processor is just the same.
