Yeah...I have a few friends who are always asking either my husband or myself for help on any problems they have with their computers -- hubby and I reckon those people should be BANNED from owning and using a computer, period! 
My Mum in law is almost hopeless with her computer as she's always screwing her computer up somehow and has to have the hard drive formatted a number of times, just because she fiddled around with a file that wasn't supposed to be tampered with (in Windows System folder). :roll:
